Meet the teacher night at the school. Lily has Mrs. Massa for first grade.
First day of first grade - Aug. 20. Lily had a rough first day. She doesn't have any girls from her kindergarten class in her class this year, so she has to make all new friends. She didn't eat lunch on the first day and the bus was so late bringing her home that she didn't get to Nana & Papa's until 4:45 - one and half hours after school. Nana and Papa have been picking her up since then. She is doing better, now. She has made some new friends and seems to be adjusting well.

Second day of first grade - she had a much better second day! One of her new friends calls her "Lily Pad."
Lacy is our little diva - always dressing up in heels, necklaces, etc. And always singing her little heart out! She's loud too.

At Mary Lyn's open house - I bought Lacy a leotard and tried it on her while we were there. She wouldn't let me take it off so she wore it home. We start our Mommy and Me class next week :)
