Her Birth Day
About 2 months old...
About 6 months old...
About 10 months old...
About 18 months old...Lily's vocabulary has exploded. She can and will repeat anything you say. So, we really need to be careful what we say. She can say the alphabet and count to ten in English, Spanish and German (my mom taught her). She's learning her states and knows where California, Florida, Texas, Hawaii and Ohio are. She can follow directions like "Bring me the diaper bag. No, not that one, but the one next to it." (If that makes sense.) She can throw things away for us and put dirty dishes in the sink. She notices when things are different. For example, I changed the photos in our collages on the wall and as soon as she saw them she pointed and said "Oh, woah." She's a great big sister. She still calls Dillon "Ding Dong" which still cracks us up. He was in his bouncy seat the other day and was crying. She went over and tried to pick him up. Luckily, Anson caught her. She's already a nurturer. She loves playing with her babies.
But, her latest greatest accomplishment is going to the potty!!
Yesterday she pooped in the potty at Nana's and today she's went pee in the potty twice already. She's really picking it up and making us proud.
I just can't believe she's going to be 2 next month!!
Dillon's Update:
I took Dillon to the doctor this morning for his One Month Check-up. All is well and he is very healthy. Here are his stats:
Weight = 10 lbs 13 oz / 85th percentile (He gained over 2 pounds in a month! His discharge weight was 8 lbs 5 oz)
Height = 22 in / 75th percentile (grew 2 inches)
Head = 15 in / 50th percentile
We are so thankful to have two beautiful, healthy children!

Having two is more than twice the fun (and less than twice the work!) I can see that you are already experiencing that!

Time sure flies when you are having fun...right? Lily is so precious. Also, I am so thankful that Dillon has gained so much weight. No pyloric stenosis for him!!
Love, Mom C.
