Elf on the Shelf...we started a tradition at the Cross household today. Anson's parents did this when he was little. Anson's parents bought us our own Elf this year so we can carry on the tradition with our kids.
Every day between today and Christmas this little Elf (yet to be named) will watch Lily closely to make sure she's being a good little girl. And every night, the Elf flies to the North Pole via Christmas Magic to report to Santa if Lily has been good that day. Today was the first day, and Lily already seems to know that the Elf is watching her. In the first video below, I ask her where the Elf is and she looks right up at him. Part of the fun is that the Elf moves to a different location in the house every day. As she grows up she will get excited to get up and find the Elf's new spot in the house =)
