Lily the Lion Goes to Boo at the Zoo

Sounds like the title of a children's book, doesn't it? Yesterday we dressed Lily in her little Lion costume and took her to the Akron Zoo. We had so much fun. The zoo has trick-or-treating but we didn't pay for that since Lily is too young. Next year we will. It was fun just watching her reaction to all the animals. It was really crowded too. We were surprised by the number of people there.

At the house, before we left. We snapped a few pics of Lily by our pumpkin. We were amazed that she didn't try to tear the head piece off. She left it on all the way until we left the zoo.

The Lion Meets the Bear. One thing that's really neat about the Akron Zoo is that the animals come right up to the glass like this.
